Originally bought a Ford Focus from HL Automotive in 2014. The car was absolutely fine.  My sisters Ford Ka (not bought from HL) was playing up, & Rob offered to take a look at it.......and did, indeed, fix it quickly. He really does know Ford's inside out. Whilst at his premises I spotted a Ford Focus Ghia, which (like all his carefully chosen cars) looked outstanding. Rob offered a very fair part exchange and the deal was done to trade for the newer, updated Focus Ghia. The original deal was 1st class, and so too was this second deal. Obviously, you don't return to buy another car, unless you're extremely satisfied. I recommend anyone to check out Rob's stock, you won't be disappointed. He really is refreshingly different from other traders.

Looking for a car for my daughter and searching online found HL Automotive. Gave them a ring, spoke to Rob the owner, and after chatting to him went over the following morning to have a look. Rob was really friendly and helpful. Bought a Ford Focus from him which was absolutely perfect, in extremely good condition and drove great. Arranged to go back the following morning to collect it. Got the train to Warrington where Rob picked me up, went and did all the paperwork etc and I drove it back to North Wales. My daughter is over the moon with the car. Rob is a really nice guy. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the cars he sells. Also makes a good cup of coffee which I appreciated after my train journey there on a cold windy morning. I bought a Ford Focus automatic 2002 registration from Rob this month approximately two weeks ago after looking for a car for 3 months going to different garages, private sellers and having test drives. From start to finish it was a great experience, I felt like Rob was really there to help and not to give a quick sale but to do a genuine sale on a good car. I went to view the car and had a long chat with Rob about automatic/manuals and took the car for a test drive. I then decided that this was the car for me and made a decision to buy it. It really was a great choice, I absolutely love it, it's in great condition and a pleasure to drive. I have all the documents from past mots etc and I know that if in the future I have any questions or issues I could contact Rob and he would be happy to help. Made up with my new car from HL Automotive today. Seen this Ford Focus zetec online Thursday, called to arrange viewing and was impressed with how friendly and helpful Rob was, unlike a few other places I called in the week where I just seemed to get fobbed off, or salesmen didn't seem very clued up. HL Automotive were very welcoming and professional. I was blown away how well presented the car was on arrival, 1st class valet inside and out. The photos online really did the car justice. It was also good having a chat with Rob whose passion and enthusiasm for his company really shined through, and his knowledge and experience on Ford cars is also reassuring. There was no hard sell and I didn't feel pressured once unlike other car dealers I have experienced. I would definitely recommend HL automotive, and would 100% use them again in the future.

I recently had to buy a car to replace my old, dying, Renault. Rob was really easy to deal with, he was straightforward and didn't try to take advantage of the situation. Talking about price was easy and he didn't try to flannel around what he was, and wasn't prepared to consider. This meant that even though it was slightly more than I had budgeted for I still felt happy with my decision. I bought a Mondeo from him, low mileage, good condition, and I haven't found anything wrong with the car in the week since.

I have dealt with Rob once before and found him to be different from other car dealers. He does not treat people as idiots and fill you with bulls**t in order to sell you a car. After my old car finally "gave up", I needed to get back on the road asap but was wary of buying a "dud". I would like to state for the record that I have always bought my cars privately and recently I bought my latest car from Rob's showroom in Warrington. My partner and I were taken by surprise when we met Rob at his showroom. You can see he has worked hard to achieve what he has already done to building his business in a countryside rather than taking the easy option of opening a car sales business in a built up area in the City. Rob has to rely on his honesty and professionalism to make his living and what a job he has done. We bought a KA from Rob on Good Friday. He couldn't have been more helpful and honest. We didn't get to him until pretty late in the afternoon. I personally hate doing the whole car thing especially with the wheeler and dealers, hard selling and negotiating most people expect. Jeff my husband did most of the talking. We were looking to part ex our old bigger car. Our old car wasn't of any use to Rob, but he helped us find the local "we by any car " place and offered too pick us up from there if we needed him to. By the time we got there, did all the negotiating and paper work it was well after 6.00pm. True to his word, we rung Rob, he drove over, picked us up, took us both back to his garage , sorted all the paper work out and purchased the KA. Thanks Rob, we had the rest of the Easter holiday to enjoy. Would not hesitate to recommend HL Automotive to anybody, friends, family and neighbours. Can't believe what a bargain we have.
