Let me tell you about my experience with buying a car from HL Automotive. After a couple of weeks of looking, I came across a Ford Mondeo matching exactly the criteria I was looking for advertised by HL Automotive. I live in Newcastle upon Tyne, some 150 miles from their garage but was so taken with the car that I called and spoke to Rob to arrange an appointment to travel down to see the car. Rob could not have been more helpful. While on the phone he talked me through everything about the car there and then and put my mind at ease about travelling that distance to find the car as described. The following Saturday, as arranged, myself, my wife and son traveled down to Warrington to view the car and quite honestly I was blown away by the condition of the vehicle. It was better than I expected and I was so impressed with the customer service offered by Rob. It made the whole process as easy as it could have been. Needless to say I drove away that day in an immaculate Ford Mondeo after having it's whole back story and service history explained in detail to me. My greatest thanks to Rob and the team, I cannot recommend HL Automotive highly enough. They really care about their cars and their customers. Anyone looking to buy a used car in great condition and who wants peace of mind in the process, look no further !!!

Well where do i start? First off i just want to thank Rob. When going to buy a used car most give the hard sell and try to push you into buying a car well Rob isn't like this. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I felt at ease and that is hard for someone like myself who suffers anxiety problems trust me. So the car? What can I say other than WOW I mean it was beautiful. Rob walked me threw everything on the car and took his time to explain everything. He even showed me how all the gadgets and gizmos worked then left me to have a look myself (NOT ONCE SAYING DO YOU WANT THE CAR). Within 20 minutes I knew I wanted the car. Rob even drove in his own car to the post office to tax the car for me in rush hour on a Saturday not even knowing if the post office would be open. He has also offered a great deal on a service for the car when it needs one. If you are looking for a new car and don't want the hassle and stress of that pushy seller go and see Rob. I swear you won't be disappointed. Thank you so much Rob. I love the car and my missus does too. Hope you enjoyed the fireworks in the rain mate and see you soon.

Based on previous experience I had been reluctant to purchase a used car again as I am familiar with the pit falls and how easy it is to be conned in to buying something with hidden faults (especially as a young female)! Rob put me at ease straight away when I came to view a beautiful X-reg Puma Black. His extensive Ford knowledge and direct, non-pushy attitude - as well as the great condition of the car - swayed me into making the purchase. The car only came with one standard key, so he even had a remote key created for me at no extra charge, and also picked me up the train station when I came to collect the car - I've never heard of a second hand car dealer being decent enough to do that! I can't recommend Rob highly enough for anybody wanting to purchase a used car!

We were looking to buy a reliable decent car for our daughter after she passed her test. We had looked at a couple of other garages in the local area but felt a bit misled and overwhelmed. When we went to view Rob's car he was so friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy. The car was perfect for her. Rob talked my daughter through all the controls and features, showing her around the car. In a world of pushy car sales men Rob is a breath of fresh air. I would recommend anyone thinking of buying a reliable good quality car to go and see Rob first.

I did not know HL Automotive before spotting the advert for a Focus ST170, on Autotrader. It appeared to be just what I was looking for, and after speaking to Rob on the phone, I traveled from Leeds to see the car. It was exactly as described in the advert, and on his website (in more detail). I found Rob to be open, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about Fords. We did a deal there and then on my trade-in, and I drove away in my new car! A great car, at a good price.

I asked Rob to look out for a Focus for me. He soon came up with an excellent low mileage 2 Litre model. I visited him and the car at his country location and found the car to be a superb example of the Focus. Rob is a Ford fanatic and a very nice bloke. He even delivered the car for me! I heard about Rob last minute whilst looking at similar cars to those he stocked. The fact that Rob had a long history with Ford models appealed to me and after a quick phone call enquiring about a model I had seen online, he accommodated me straight away on a bank holiday Sunday! After looking at the car I had seen, Rob provided me with information and advice for other Ford Focus models helping me to make the correct choice for my needs. The purchasing process was simple and Rob made me feel at ease throughout. After purchasing the car there was a slight problem that required a new part. This was looked at swiftly and again all the facts and info were presented to me. All round very good service, well priced cars and a trust worthy guy!

I don't often leave testimonials, but credit where it's due! I bought a Nissan Primera from Rob after a particularly nasty experience with a large 'reputable' used car dealer. As all the previous quotes say "No pressure and a completely transparent process from start to finish". I have deliberately delayed this review as I wanted to ensure I didn't have any nasty surprises further down the line. Well 3 months later, my car is currently doing 6-700 miles per week very happily! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rob to friends and colleagues, and have since done :)

Having discovered Rob and HL Automotive earlier this year, I was impressed by the relaxed and professional atmosphere to which we received. It was a nice refreshing change to deal with someone who doesn't push the hard sell. I drove away that day with the ideal car for a very good price. Unfortunately, one month later an uninsured, untaxed, unlicensed drunk driver decided to pay more attention to the burger he was eating rather than where he was driving, crashing in to numerous parked cars and ending up in the back of mine, causing enough damage to write it off. So, I contact Rob and explained my situation. Within a week of me contacting him, he had found, bought, and sold to me my next Focus, which i hope will last a little longer than the previous one. I will be returning to HL Automotive in the future, and needless to say I have recommended Rob to anyone looking for a new car. Thank you again.

I'd been looking specifically for a Ford Fiesta, and after going to see plenty of rubbish ones I'd lost hope! I then found Rob's advert for one on Autotrader, I actually ended up buying another Fiesta he had in at the showroom which ended up being a better match. Rob was honest about a few parts that needed replacing on the car, all of which he did before I went to pick it up. Five days after having the car I drove it 240 miles from my home to Newcastle-upon-Tyne and back, it's a great little car! Rob's always available to ring and answer any questions you have, even ones you think are stupid! Thank you!!

I didn't know HL Automotive UK existed. It was only through an advert on Auto trader that i became aware of it & what a refreshing & nice surprise it turned out to be. From the beginning, contacting Rob in the evening to arrange a viewing of a car to meeting Rob & viewing the car became a pleasurable experience. A completely relaxed atmosphere, no pressure selling, Rob was informative about the car i was viewing & as it was an older vehicle he pointed out both good & bad points. I found Rob & HL Automotive to be friendly & most importantly very genuine. This evening i have just picked up my ford focus from Rob. I have to say i am thrilled with my purchase and even more pleased that i bought my car from a genuine person who goes that extra mile for his customers. Firstly I must say that buying a used car is a mind field and trusting a seller is a nightmare...... but Rob from HL automotive dispels all these with a friendly well informed manner. The showroom situated in a lovely rural surrounding, a tidy selection of well kept cars mine was spotless offered with 12 months MOT six months tax and a service thrown in too! I felt at ease and after a test drive bought it on the spot . I would recommend HL to any one. .. try them out first.

I bought a Ford Focus from Rob in December 2012. The service I received was second to none. On collection of my new car, I was picked up from the train station and took back to the showroom. I left fully satisfied and confident and drove back to Ludlow trouble free. I would recommend Rob and H L Automotive with out a doubt...and already have done so.
